    I have found and medal or something and I believe it's russian and someone here can help me out.

    If I Google I see something from world war 1 and the great retrait. But does someone know what it is?

    It's a Russian Empire eagle, it's not a coin.
    Grodno is a town in Belarus, it used to be a part of RU Empire

    May be, it's a part of small pocket watches or some kind of that.

    By the way, 1917 is a year revolution happened in RU

    Oh ok, I thought it was a cut coin b cause on the back is a face. And it looked very similar on a Ruble.

    if its a Russian ruble ... instead of GRODNO will not be Гродно ?

    This object was made from coin of Emperor Nicholas II (1 rouble or 50 kopecks).

    But why I can't find that ruble on the internet... Can't find any ruble with the text Grodno on

    Don't bother looking for it, there is no such coin. This inscription (Grodno 1914-17) just was engraved on a common rouble of Emperor Nicholas II. It is like memorable inscription.

    Ow lol! That's why I can't find it... But in the original ruble there is on the same spot a discription?

    Do you know how old it may be?

    These coins minted in 1895-1915. Under the emblem of the eagle are found the face value and the year of issue.
