I practice writing with permanent marker on these battery storage cases when "break-in" or "charge" was performed

This also would be a good idea to label each set differently. Write on batteries eg; "A" and second set "B".

If batteries are empty the are inserted vice versa +/-/+/-. As per yr image batteries are inserted +/+/+/+.

Read that a house fire that burnt the whole house down was started by the terminals of a 9 volt battery touching a piece of metal like keys. So I brought a case. Very cheep of eBay.

I just got a couple of new storage containers for my 'AA' and 9v batteries.
I prefer the storage containers that I posted earlier in this thread, as they keep the batteries grit free and to a degree waterproof. You can get waterproof ones but at a cost.

So... Why did I buy these.

These are more for my kit bag or the glove box in my van. Also at home for easier and safer storage, especially the 9volt batteries.

Any battery mate but 9 volt has negative and positive closer together.

I store my batteries in a spare cardridge so if working batteries are empty I can change the the cardridge.
    Fast and easy method :)
